This is a proposal for a website which was intended to be a location the residents of the city of New Haven could post their favorite “details” of the city. The idea was to encourage people to look closer at the city they live in and take photos of its unique details. <–more–!> The website has a grid that gets built as people add to it, each column representing a street in New Haven, each row within the column represents a different photo on that street. As the density of the site grows the images become more condensed creating a barcode or dna of the city.
