This book ties together different essays, articles radio broadcasts etc dealing with recent social and political divisions in the United States. It also pairs them with with imagery of objects that are divisive objects and share physical formal qualities. It also served as an experiment in how the form of the book and the typography can both reflect the theme of the content.
